Pakistan is witnessing a worse situation regarding technology access and internet connectivity. There is a big difference between Internet users in urban and rural areas of Pakistan. Approximately 70% of the population lives in urban areas of Pakistan, where they don’t have access to the internet. Apart from the government of Pakistan, it doesn’t provide technological facilities to those people. The government of Pakistan uses a firewall, which also affects internet speed. If someone is spreading Fake news, then there should be policies that hold those people accountable who are spreading fake news. The need for technology increases day by day, the government should prioritize technology in all fields. It should not be limited to the Computer Science department.
