These comprehensive guidelines apply to all publishing divisions of The Center of Cyber World Insight, including CWI Magazine, Cyber Watch E-paper, The Journal of Cyber World Insight, CWI Blog, and our AI Responsibility Policy. Select a tab below to read full details.

CWI Magazine welcomes original submissions from researchers, journalists, professionals, and industry experts across the Cyber Domain. All submissions must meet global standards for quality, professionalism, and ethical responsibility.

Content & Structure

  • Introduction: Clearly outline the topic, its relevance, and the central argument.
  • Body: Use logical sections and subheadings to present evidence, case studies, and analysis.
  • Conclusion: Summarize key insights, implications, or recommendations.
  • Tone: Professional, neutral, and engaging. First person only for opinion pieces.
  • Clarity: Avoid unnecessary jargon; define all technical terms.

Citations & References

Use Foreign Policy-style footnotes. Include a bibliography ordered alphabetically by author surname.

Ethical AI Usage

Disclose all AI assistance in a note or footnote. Verify all AI-generated facts with credible sources. Follow standards from ICJ, CPJ, and GEN.

Ethical AI Usage

AI tools may support brainstorming or editing but cannot be used to generate entire posts. Any AI assistance must be clearly disclosed in the submission.

Review & Publication

Blog submissions are reviewed within 7 working days. Editors may make minor edits for style, clarity, and SEO optimization.

  • Human Oversight: All AI-generated material is subject to human review, fact-checking, and verification.
  • Accuracy: AI outputs are never published without independent verification.
  • Accountability: An AI Oversight Committee coordinates usage, provides training, and monitors compliance.

Privacy & Security

No personal data, confidential information, or unpublished content may be entered into third-party AI systems without explicit approval. Sensitive projects rely only on secure, approved platforms.

Guidelines for Contributors

  • Disclose any AI use in your submission (a brief note or footnote is sufficient).
  • AI must not replace your personal expertise, style, or originality.
  • Verify all AI-generated facts with credible, independent sources.

Policy Updates

This policy is reviewed regularly and updated as AI technologies evolve. All CWI staff and contributors receive ongoing training on responsible AI use. All AI activity must align with CWI's core values of accuracy, transparency, trust, and integrity.
